Visual perception
Direct realism rules
I am greatly interested in the nature of vision and the philosophy and psychology of perception in general. In particular, I am a great admirer of James J. Gibson and his theory of direct realism — and it is one of my goals to apply his ideas about visual perception to theoretical aspects of the art of painting.
