Writing

The I of the Perceiver

In May 2002 I started writing an (ir)regular column for www.graphics.com, called The I of the Perceiver. I review graphics software and write on various aspects of digital graphics — a bunch of columns are listed here.

Digital Illustration

I have written a big article about my digital vector illustration techniques with Xara X for the leading German computer magazine c't. It was published in two parts in the summer of 2001. The original English version is available here.

Poetry

Yes, I even dabble in writing poetry. Yes, in English. Yes, they all scan and rhyme and make some sense. A little PDF collection will soon be made available here.

Lecturing

While literature isn't really my field, in March 2000 I gave a lecture at the campus of the University of Oslo on Ayn Rand 's great novel The Fountainhead , called Profound Simplicity: Appreciating "The Fountainhead" — to much acclaim, ifI may say so.
